Summary: Children will love this book as it guides them through the process of making “the best soup ever”: vegetable soup! Extension Activities:
-Cook some vegetable soup with your class! Bring in fresh vegetables and talk about how you need to wash them, chop, and cook them in order to turn it into soup. Have the children point out what vegetable is what and if they don’t know one tell them what it is. Discuss their favorite vegetables as you cook it and even have them draw their favorite vegetable to hang up in the class. After the soup is done, everyone can enjoy the creation with some crackers.
