Summary: - The rabbit throws the mouses plane up into the tree. The rabbit says he has an idea and goes and gets every animal he can find. He piles them all up on top of each other. The mouse tries to reach but can't and the pile comes down. The animals were not happy. Rabbits gets it and starts it. Mouse and rabbit ride it to get away from everyone and end up getting stuck in the tree again.

Extension Activities: -
Have a coloring picture of a plane and have the kids color it the color they like.

Teach about sharing and have them play together and tell them they have to share with the other kids with a toy they brought from home.

Summary- This book is a really fun book for kids. The picture in the text are great and there is not words on all the pages so the kids can really get into the book by looking at the images. It is about a rabbit who always causes trouble even though he means well. He gets his airplane stuck in the tree and then tries to get it out bye getting a bunch of big animals to help. The bigger animals were not happy.


Extension Activity- You could have the students paint or color different pictures of all the animals or even make animal puppets. You could have a class discussion about what you would do if you got your airplane stuck in a tree.

Summary:Rabbit and Mouse are the best of friends. Rabbit was playing with Mouse's toy airplane and got it stuck in a tree. He gathers tons of animals, anything from a rhinoceros to a squirrel to get his best friends airplane down.  They finally stack over 15 animals on top of each other to get the airplane down and right as Rabbit and Mouse get to the top the animals start to lose their balance and fall over.  Mouse finally gets the airplane.  They fly around until they get it stuck again.  But knowing Rabbit, he decides that he has another great plan. 
Extension Activities:
The class will make paper airplanes and reenact the story.

Summary: - Mouse's friend Rabbit tends to bring destruction with him where ever he goes. One day Rabbit gets their toy plane stuck in a tree really high up. Rabbit comes up with a solution that is bringing all the animals together and stacking them one on top of the other until they could reach the plane. 

 

Extension Activities: - One idea is to hand out construction paper and other basic craft supplies, and have the kids recreate the story using what they have. Another idea is to set up the room to look like the setting in the story and bring in stuffed animals of all sizes. Then you could have them make a paper airplane and have them use their imagination to put themselves into the story.
