Summary: Z is just like any other letter in the alphabet and has a job to do. While on his way home, he encounters all the other letters of the alphabet as they somehow shape many everyday things. Finally Z reaches home and he fits right in.
Extension Activities:
-Discuss with students what they think looks like a shape. For example, a ball looks like the letter ‘o’. After discussing items with the students, provide them with paper and markers and let them draw their own alphabet book. Have them try to think of things they see on their way home from school and draw a picture for each letter of the alphabet.
