The book uses animated characters that help the reader understand what is going on in the book. This book goes through the alphabet, listing different things that would be found in a library. This is a fantastic book for those learning about the alphabet and helps kids be more aware of their surroundings. The illustrator uses great color choices and a variety of pictures.
Extension Activity: Teacher is to assign each student three letters of the alphabet. Some kids will have the same letters as other kids in the class. Kids are to draw one object for each letter they were assigned. The object must start with the letter assigned and also be found in a school environment- preferably a library.
