Summary: -This book is all about a young girl and her relationship with her Grandmother. The obviously Mexican woman shows her deep love for her granddaughter and during their time spent together their imagination goes wild. They go on adventures throughout the city, flying high like the birds, going to lakes, and exploring things nobody knows. Along the way there is constant use of Spanish words and the illustrations are fabulous and go right along, even enhancing the literature.

Extension Activities:
-Have each child write a page about an adventure or experience they have had with their Grandma.
-Then have the child turn that real story into a creative, fictional story, using one page of illustrations and details that make the writing of the story come to life.
-Draw a picture of you and your Grandmother, what is it that you like most about her? What does your relationship consist of and name your favorite memory you have with her.
