Summary: - This book is about finding shapes in everyday life. It is not your usual concept book, because it doesn't have a plain old shape with the name of the shape next to it. It is a book of things found in any city that show shapes. Its clear on all the pages what the picture is of, but the point of it is to see shapes in these things.

Extension Activities: - Something you could do with your class is take them on a short adventure to find shapes. You could walk them through the school hallways, through the library, the gym, and even go outside looking for shapes in everyday objects. Another thing you could have them do the night before the lesson is bring in a small paper bag of small items. After going through the book, have them bring their bag to the front of the room and have their classmates find shapes in their peer's items.
