Summary:This is a great book for preschool and kindergartners. It has a very creative way to show shapes, colors and animals. There are different shapes that turn into animals. And when you turn to the next page the same shapes make a new animal. Then on the back of the pages it has the shapes and their names. For example Tiger turns into Mouse then Fox and on the backs of those pages are circle, square and triangle. Then it shows all the shapes used on the previous pages all on one page. Children will love all the different animals that each different shapes make.

Have the construction paper cut into shapes and different colors. Have the children make their own animals with the shapes. Then have a big bulletin board that says "Color Zoo" and have a zoo of all their animals.
