Summary: This book is about a monkey named Sari who is troubled by weird peculiar things that keep happening in her life. For example, she will wake up with things in her room misplaced or rocks going down her stairs. She is very confused. She is often late to school because of these things. All of the suspicious activity takes place at night. Sari decides to stay awake all night to see who has been messing everything up. She finds out it is the invisible alligators. The invisible alligators tell Sari that they were the ones who messed everything up and it was just all for laugh and games. In the end Sari cleans up after the alligators and learns she can still get a good nights rest and she falls asleep quickly.
Extension Activity: Have kids color pictures of monkeys and alligators since that is what this story is about. Markers and coloring worksheets would be provided by the teacher. This is a way for the kids to feel closer to the characters in the story and also work on their artistic abilities along with hand-eye coordination.
