Summary: This book is all about leopards. This is a non-fiction book and informs kids about the lifestyle of the famous leopard. Some topics discussed throughout this book include: leopard's living quarters, different cat families, leopard language, and many more fun facts about the leopard. There are real live pictures of the leopard in this book. Some pictures are of the full body, while others are close ups. This is a great informative book for kids of all ages.
Extension Activity: Have children do a research project on leopards. They wold be assigned to look up where leopards live, more characteristics of the leopard, food the leopard eats, and family relationships of leopard. This information would be presented on a poster board and two pictures (drawn or from the Internet) would need to be on the poster board as well. This would be presented in front of the class. (2 weeks would be given to do research project)
