Summary: This book is about different kinds of creatures and their relationships with one another. This book shows how two different animals can work together and create a partnership. Also, this book discusses how humans can interact with animals and how humans can make life easier for the creatures. The illustrations in this book are very real, yet they are painted. I feel I am looking at a photograph when viewing these paintings (that is how good the paintings are). This is a great informative book for the young as well as the adults.
Extension Activity: Have kids write about their own experiences/interactions with animals and how those experiences/interactions have benefited either themselves, the animal, or both. This would be a writing assignment. They could also draw a picture or take a photograph of the animal they wrote about in their writing assignment and attach it to the back.
