Summary: This book is about the Care Bears and their relationships with each other. They play a game of Hide & Seek with one another as friends. This toy book includes flaps of paper that reveal where each Care Bear is hiding. The flaps keep the children who are reading the book engaged in the story and very interested. The Friend Bear finds the rest of the bears hiding until there are no more bears left to find. Then the Care Bears want to play the game of Hide & Seek all over again. This is a good book for preschoolers because it teaches them about the game Hide & Seek, since many may not know how to play it. Also, older kids who already know how to play Hide & Seek will like this book because they can relate to it. The bright colors in the book capture the kids attention from the first page. This is an awesome toy book for young kids.

Extension Activity: Children could play one big game of Hide & Seek as a class. The teacher would be the counter for the first round of Hide & Seek and then the turns for the counter would rotate throughout the class. This would be a great way for the kids to interact with each other, and learn the rules and guidelines for the game of Hide & Seek, while building self confidence and independence.
