Summary: This book is about many familiar rhymes from kittens to pussicat, wussicat with a white foot and many other feline favorites. This book contains different nursery rhymes combined together. The pictures are great with kid friendly illustrations. The colors are neutral- not too bright, but not too dull either. The author created the perfect mood for a book all about cats.

Extension Activity: Have the children create cat masks. Paper plates would be used along with construction paper, glue, markers, string, and pipe cleaners. Holes would be cut out on the plate for eyes, construction paper for ears, sparkles and other supplies to decorate. Pipe cleaners would be used for whiskers. Markers for anything else the kids wanted to add. Allow some free time for kids to play with their masks. Kids can even act out a specific nursery rhyme from the book if they would like.
