Summary: - This book is about a little girl who goes to the beach. She was playing in the waves and learning the flow of them. Even though there aren't any words, you can clearly tell what the story was about. The story is told through her emotions and actions that the illustrator created.
Extension Activities: - Since this book is for young kids who can't read, the extension activities have to be simple. You could have each child color about the ocean or what they would do if they were on the beach. Ask them would you play in the waves, make a sandcastle, or sit under the umbrella and have a picnic? That way the children can get some ideas. Another activity you could have them do is take colored rice and have them make a picture about the beach with that.
