Summary: The book Clouds goes through everything a child will need to know about clouds.  It goes in depth with pictures that show how clouds form, many kinds of clouds, three kinds of clouds, rain clouds, fog and smog, the color of clouds, clouds and sun, above the clouds and then a glossary that gives the definitions of terms they used in the book, again.  It is made in a medium reading level, a step up from an easy read book.  It has small paragraphs with moderate font.  It also bolds the defined words which helps children understand key words.
Extension Activities:
Using cotton balls and construction paper, the children can make the main three types of clouds that were displayed in the book.  They can choose between the Stratus, Cumulus, or Cirrus.  They will use the knowledge that they learned from the book to duplicate the cloud as described in the book.
