Sosha does not seem to care about the hole, she wants the bear all to herself. She purchases the bear and brings him home to her house. She fixes him up, gives in a bath, and dresses the bear in new clothes. Sosha names the toy bear, "Mister Bear" and they become best friends. This book has awesome illustrations that will capture young eyes and minds at first glance.
Extension Activity: Have children bring in their favorite play toy from home. This would be a "show and tell day." Kids could stand up in front of the class and talk about their favorite toy they brought and why it is so special. The toy would be passed around the class, so other kids could get a better look at they toy.
