Summary- One day Trixie goes on some errands with her dad and she always bring along her stuffed animal Knuffle Bunny. She and her dad do many different activites throughout the day including laundry. When she and her dad are on their way home, Trixie realizes that something is wrong. Her dad isn't sure what is wrong. Once they get home her mother realizes that Knuffle Bunny is missing so they run back to the laundromat where her dad finds Knuffle Bunny and then Trixie says her first words.
Extension Activity- For this extension I would have the kids draw a picture of them with their favorite stuffed animal. One that they have had since they were very little. They have to color in their picture and then write a story about losing their stuffed animal and then finding it.
