Summary: This book contains all of the classic children’s rhymes. The illustrations are outstanding and really entertain the children. However, this book contains just excerpts from various classic rhymes, and not the entirety of the nursery stories.
Extension Activity: Since this book deals with such classic nursery rhymes, I would have the students choose their favorite one and write it out and decorate the paper so they could bring it home and recite to their families to work on rhythm and rhyming.
