Summary:
-This book is a story of Mozart looking back on the events in his life all leading up to the amazing night of his musical triumph, "Don Giovanni." It looks at the first day he got his violin at age six, at age sixteen when the archbishop demanded his service, to the writing of his musical masterpieces he is known for today.

Extension Activities:
-Before you read the book, ask the children if they have ever listened to any music by Mozart. If they have, have them write a paragraph on what they think of the music. If they have not listened to it, give the other children seven minutes, and put on Mozart's most famous song. When you are done let the rest of the students write about their opinions on the music.
-What did they learn from the book? What did you think about Mozart? How do you picture what he looked like? Write two paragraphs and draw a picture.
