Summary: This toy book is about a boy named Sam who makes a sandwich for his sister Samantha. Sam is quite sneaky and slips in different creatures into Samantha's sandwich. The flaps in this toy book reveal the little creepy crawlers Sam put into Samantha's sandwich. This is a funny book kids are sure to enjoy. The flaps keep the kids questioning and there is even some rhyming throughout the book.

Extension Activity: Have children make their own "fake" sandwich out of cardboard and construction paper. The fake sandwich supplies ( bread, meat, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, etc.) would already be cut out by the teacher. Kids would put all the pieces together to create a sandwich. This is a fun activity that allows kids to use their imaginations- pretending the sandwich is real.
