Extension Activities:
-Draw a picture of your favorite animal in the story. Explain on the back what they did that cause and effected a new outcome, also, why they are your favorite.
-This is a Caldecott Awarded book, which means the illustrations are great. Ask the kids what they would think the book would be like without pictures. How would the book change, would it make it better or worse? What do they think would be the final outcome.
