Summary: -It gives examples of how much a million really is. If you piles one million kids on top of each other they would be taller than the tallest buildings. It would take about 23 days to count to one million. It would take up seven pages to put one million stars in the book. Then it goes into how much a trillion would be and if you had a trillion goldfish it would take up a whole city harbor.


Extension Activities: -Compare the amount of something like how many marbles can fit into a cup.

Have each kid see how long it take them to count to just 500 and times that by 2000 to see how long it would take them to count to one million.
