Summary: Chrysanthemum was born and given the perfect name. As she grew up she thought that her name was perfect, and when she was old enough to go to school she was very excited, but when she go to school she did not like her name so much after all. Her name was very difficult to spell and all her classmates had much simplier names to spell. She had many different people helping her learn how to spell her name.
Extension Activity: For this extension activity, I will have all the students names printed on and have the letters be written out with dashed letters. My goal would be to help the kids understand the correct way to write each letter that shows up in their name and know how to write it.
