Summary: Chicka Chicka Boom Boom is a great alphabet story book that everyone loves. It teaches children about rhyming words and phrases and the alphabet. This book is about the whole alphabet climbing up a coconut tree. The tree slowly lets lower and lower to the ground until the whole alphabet falls off. They all get hurt. But they all slowly go away and then late at night A comes out and starts all over again. It is a great book for preschoolers because they can practice the alphabet and they catch on very quickly to rhyming phrases.

Extension Activities: Coconut trees.

The children will make coconut trees. By using toilet paper rolls with little slits in the top for the kids to put the pre-made leaves. They will use pompoms balls as coconuts. Then they will stick letters on their coconut trees.
