Summary: - This nearly wordless book tells the story of a magical Tuesday night when frogs on lily pads are able to fly around the city. At the end of the night, the magic ends and the frogs come back to the ground. The story ends with the beginning of what might happen next Tuesday with flying pigs.
The pictures follow the frogs throughout the night and are very clear in showing what happens to the frogs. The cool colors used in the illustrations portray a sleepy, still night. The unique use of sectioned pictures on several pages adds more description and helps the story come alive.

Extension Activities:
-
--Students finish drawing the rest of the story for next Tuesday's adventure with the pigs.
--Students can write a story that would follow the illustrations. In addition to fitting with the pictures, the story should provide an explanation as to why and how the frogs--and later the pigs--fly on Tuesday night.
